About Us

Like many of you, we bought Teslas because we believed in the promise of clean energy and innovation. And for awhile, we loved our cars.

But through no action of our own, our vehicles became symbols of hate and authoritarianism. Some people chose to sell their Teslas and we have the utmost respect for them. 

However, many of us are still paying off loans, facing a devalued used car market, and simply not willing to let someone else's actions speak for us. 

At first, we turned to bumper stickers to signal our disappointment and embarrassment. But as democracy faces daily threats, that no longer feels like enough.

That is why we created Resist Autocrats.

We designed a new front and rear car emblem to replace the Tesla logo with something that has long stood as a global symbol of resistance; the Resistance fist.

From the civil rights movements to anti-authoritarian protests, the raised fist has represented solidarity, defiance, and the fight for justice. Our hope is that Resist Autocrats stands in that tradition.

We are here to make an impact. A portion of every sale will be donated to Indivisible, a non-profit organization aligned with the mission to defend our democracy.
